Holy Trinity Parish Mission Statement

We, the Catholic community of Holy Trinity Parish, call together the pilgrim people of God throughout the Ligonier and Laurel Valleys.

Our Church strives to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ by providing a Catholic education for our youth,
on-going education for adults, training for our leadership, and encouraging our members to discover and use
their God-given talents.

Our mission is continually realized by being a worshiping community, united and nurtured by the sacraments, scripture, and prayer, as we celebrate God’s saving grace. Our mission is further realized by fostering a sense of unity and social awareness of each other in good times and in bad and joining other parishes in the Valleys to spread the Gospel.

Welcome to Holy Trinity

Welcome to the Catholic community of the Ligonier valley where the mountains gently caress the fields and streams! Located in the palm of God’s hand and surrounded by the Chestnut and Laurel ridges of the Allegheny Mountains, we are the easternmost parish in the Diocese of Greensburg, serving the area from Somerset County to Latrobe and New Florence to Donegal.

Since 1855, Holy Trinity Parish has provided a home for both worship and education to Catholics who live in the valley, as well as weekend and summer residents, and visitors who are just passing through the area. Come worship with us as you ski the mountains, fish the streams, hike the forests or visit our trails of history. The peace of the valley is enhanced in our worship site!
