Sacrament Preparation
Those parents wishing to have their child baptized at Holy Trinity Parish must contact the parish education office at 724-238-6341 at least four weeks prior to the desired baptism date. Learn more about preparation and sponsorship requirements for the sacrament of baptism.
First time parents must contact the parish Education Office to arrange for complete baptism preparation with Carol Serafin, parish pastoral associate for catechesis.
Reconciliation and Eucharist
The normative age for the reception of the sacraments of reconciliation and Eucharist in the Diocese of Greensburg is the second grade. It is the policy of Holy Trinity Parish that children must participate in an approved religious education program (Catholic school, religious education program, or approved home school program) during the first grade year in order to receive in the sacraments in second grade.

The normative age for the reception of the sacrament of confirmation in the diocese is in transition from second grade to seventh, eighth and ninth grades.
Immediate preparation for the sacrament of confirmation will be done in the parish of registration regardless of where the child goes to school. Children being confirmed must have been in an approved form of faith formation in the year prior to the reception of the sacrament, as well as in the year of reception.
