GOAL 1. Revitalize the Pastoral Council

Objectives:

A. Continue study of New Wine/New Wineskins.
|
|
B. Schedule a picnic to welcome new pastoral council members.
|
|
C. Plan a day of recollection for council members.
|
|
|

GOAL 2. Improve communication with the parish community.
|
|
Objectives:
|
|
A. Place monthly announcements in the church bulletin to provide the date and agenda of the upcoming pastoral council meeting. In order to get input from parishioners, before the council meeting, include a contact person(s) with phone numbers and e-mail addresses.
|
|
B. During the month after the council meeting provide a brief synopsis of the main discussion points covered during the meeting.
|
|
C. Include the 2010-11 pastoral plan in the church bulletin.
|
|
D. Enhance communication and support the development of the new Boy Scout Troup #375.
|
|
|
|
GOAL 3. Recognize and nurture the presence and growth of the gift of the Holy Spirit in our parish community.
|
|
Objectives:
|
|
A. Update and publish for distribution a list of all parish organizations.
|
|
B. Update and publish for distribution a list of all parish ministries.
|
|
C. Recognize the time and talent of parish volunteers in the Sunday bulletin. This will be accomplished through a general, sincere expression of gratitude to all volunteers and their families. Special masses in their honor will be offered during a weekend designated by Msgr. Charnoki.

GOAL 4. Emphasize education and faith formation for adults and youth in the parish.
|
|
Objectives:
A. Encourage youth to be involved as ushers, cantors, lectors and as Eucharistic ministers during regular Masses as well as during youth Masses.
|
|
B. Continue the successful adult education program.
|
|
C. Improve communication of other educational programs scheduled in parishes in the diocese.
|
|
|
|
GOAL 5. Foster community building
|
|
Objectives:
|
|
A. Continue support of the annual parish picnic
|
|
B. Coordinate the Christmas party event.
|
|
C. Coordinate the holy Thursday dinner.
|
|
D. Support continuing efforts to increase enrollment at Holy Trinity Catholic school.
